M1.0 Tap, aka: M1 & 1.00UNM Tap design: 3 flute Plug with TiN coating made to DIN standards Size M1.0 thread pitch 0.25mm threading length approximate 5mm, Shank 0.060" made from hardened high speed steel our taps are designed for production taping in Automatic screw machines, Tappers, CNC lathes and CNC mills. The coating used TiN (Titanium Nitride) very thin, increases tap performance and tool life. In our shop coated taps typically tapped three times the number of holes compared to uncoated.
