- The TiN (Titanium Nitride) coating is thin and smooth, increasing tap performance and tool life. In our shop TiN coated taps typically tapped three times the number of holes.
- Overall length of tap is 25mm (.984") threaded length (tip to end of thread) 9.5mm (0.380") with threaded portion a 8mm+ (.320"). Lengths can vary slightly between batches.
