#22211 is a M.60 Tap, aka: M.6 & .60UNM Tap design: 3 flute Plug w/TiN coating made to DIN standards thread pitch 0.150mm threading length approximate 2.50mm, Shank 0.039" made from hardened high-speed steel our taps are designed for production taping in Automatic screw machines, Tappers, CNC lathes and CNC mills. The coating used TiN (Titanium Nitride) is very thin, increases tap performance and tool life. In our shop coated taps typically tapped three times the number of holes compared to uncoated.
